About Me
I was born and raised on Oahu. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and minored in Sociology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Subsequently, I graduated from Argosy University with a degree of Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. I completed internship at Children’s Alliance of Hawaii working with children, adolescents, and teenagers who have experienced sexual abuse. I am licensed to practice Marriage and Family Therapy and currently working with individuals, couples, and families. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
My experience includes working with couples to address relationship issues such as infidelity, blended families, coping strategies, communication, and trust; working with children who are diagnosed with Autism and special needs; providing services for the Department of Education (DOE); providing therapeutic support to parents, foster parents, and children in foster care; working with children who have been abused, neglected, and/or sexually abused; providing in-home therapeutic services to address relationship and family issues; case management; and providing stress management, anger management, parenting education, and domestic violence education.
My philosophy and the definition of my business name, Pacific Counseling Partners of Hawaii, LLC, is working together as “partners” in exploring solutions to existing problems.
